So usually when I’m working, I get into a zone where I’d rather not be bothered. Just me, ipod and computer, how perfect. In a perfect world I’d be able to get a ton of work done because people don’t bother other people when they have their headphones on. Lately though it seems like there is always someone looking for me, or asking me about the progress of this and that and of course random conversations that are loud enough to disturb my train of thought. Maybe if I moved into the basement no one would bother me…but then I’d wonder if they were even paying me *Officespace
There aren’t very many people that own Wii’s at my workplace. Most actually have 360s, so I hear about that console a lot more. And although its a technology company it isn’t a video game company; just the mention of the anything video game related might seem out of place. Yet lately I’ve heard about, even seen a Wii on my floor. Here are the two random incidents at work(occurred on two different days):
The receptionist was walking around with a Wii Box. I told my friend, but she didn’t believe me..
The president was asking someone to look up pricing for the Wii.
Now when I know the president’s two little boys(less than 10 years old, but already have platinum visas) want a Wii and can’t get it, I feel even luckier to have a Wii ^_^
