The 4th annual VIDFest kicks off this weekend at the Vancouver International Film Centre. The Digital Festival attracts those working in the various areas of digital media, from games and digital entertainment to animation and mobile applications. But it is not just for the ’employed’, the event features a recruiting fair and plenty of networking parties. Conference sessions, seminars and film screenings, like that of the 4 hour film shot in Vancouver, “Sanctuary”, are just a few other things to look for at this year’s festival.

The Festival is produced by New Media BC and aided by an Advisory Board and Program Committee. New Media BC is a not-for-profit full service agency. We represent the digital media industry at large and implement strategic projects derived from ongoing dialogue and consultation with our sector.
